Job Summary
Support geotechnical investigations including field drilling, sampling, test pit programs, and in-situ testing. Analyze soil, rock, and groundwater data to support foundation design, slope stability assessments, and geohazard evaluations. Assist in preparing technical reports, memos, and data summaries that support client decisions and project development. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions for transportation, municipal, buildings, and energy-related projects. Contribute to construction monitoring, geotechnical inspections, and quality assurance activities to ensure safe and compliant project delivery. Apply innovative thinking to support sustainable design approaches and minimize environmental impacts.
Required Qualifications
- You're pursuing or eligible for registration as an Engineer‐in‐Training (EIT) with your provincial engineering regulator.
- You're comfortable working outdoors, traveling to field sites, and contributing to field programs in varying conditions.
- You meet all safety requirements and are committed to safe work practices on every site.
Desired Qualifications
- You bring familiarity with tools such as GeoStudio, gINT, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, or similar platforms — and you're eager to grow those skills.
- You're building your expertise in geotechnical engineering through hands‐on academic, co‐op, or early‐career project experience.
