Job Summary
Support Senior Engineering Staff in managing and executing high-visibility geotechnical projects for commercial buildings, industrial facilities, highways, bridges, and water facilities. Prepare project proposals and cost estimates while performing engineering analyses, calculations, and report development. Partner with key stakeholders to coordinate field and engineering tasks, maintaining client expectations for quality and schedule. Attend project and client meetings, provide management assistance for interoffice coordination, and assist other departments with geotechnical services. This full-time role offers structured training and a pathway toward leadership within DIHO Consulting USA's Heavy Industrial Division across Louisiana and Texas offices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional geotechnical experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Louisiana, or ability to obtain licensure in 3 months
- Solid oral and written communication skills and ability to work well in multiple teams
- Familiar with deep foundation design, installation and quality control testing
Desired Qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (with geotechnical engineering emphasis) is a plus
- Familiar with standard geotechnical engineering software
- Williness to learn new concepts and ideas with an entrepreneurial mindset
