Job Summary
Geotechnical Engineer for Portland office to design and build ground improvement, deep foundation, and shoring systems. Work on static and seismic designs and participate in field construction of ideas. Requires MSc or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering, at least 5 years of experience as a design engineer with PE License, knowledge of soil mechanics, foundations, shoring, slope stability, and strong writing/speaking skills. Travel within the Western and Central United States.
Required Qualifications
- MSc or PhD Degree in Geotechnical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industry as a design engineer with PE License
- Knowledge of geotechnical engineering with an emphasis on soil static and seismic behaviors, shallow and deep foundations, shoring, and slope stability
- Strong educational background with excellent course-work
- Excellent Writing and Speaking Skills
- Travel in the Western and Central United States.
