Job Summary
Geotechnical Engineer to perform field observations and testing of soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt with data analysis, reporting, and coordination with contractors and project managers. Responsibilities include field activities documentation, sampling, testing, and inspecting construction materials; performing calculations; drafting test-result reports; interacting with project stakeholders; and, as needed, providing expert testimony in dispute resolution. Requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field; PE license is preferred; experience in construction defect analysis (compaction, stormwater systems, foundation testing) is desirable. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience in construction defect analysis, particularly in compaction, stormwater systems, and foundation testing
