Job Summary
Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead and manage dam safety, rehabilitation, and FERC Part 12D projects. Responsible for identifying marketing opportunities with utilities, overseeing design/production of plans, mentoring staff, and maintaining client relationships. Requires PE licensure, 10+ years of geotechnical/geological experience, proficiency with GeoStudio tools, and the ability to manage budgets and projects across multiple offices; located within commuting distance of Ayres offices in Eau Claire, Green Bay, Roseville, Madison, Fort Collins, or Waukesha; salary range $135,000-$198,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with geotechnical/geological emphasis
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in a US state
- Minimum of 10 years of geotechnical/geological engineering experience
- Experience with dams at FERC projects desirable
- Proficiency in GeoStudio SLOPE/W and SEEP/W or equivalent
