Job Summary

Geotechnical Engineer to join Arcadis’ National Water Management and Water South teams in Little Rock, AR, leading geotechnical projects related to water management, flood resiliency, shoreline stability, and hydraulic infrastructure. Responsibilities include geotechnical analyses for levees, dams, floodwalls, seepage, slope stability and settlement; preparing design drawings, specifications, and technical reports; coordinating field investigations, reviewing boring logs and lab data; and collaborating with Civil, Structural, and Geotechnical engineers to deliver designs. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical/Civil/Geological Engineering (or related field) and 5 years of geotechnical experience; must be a Licensed Professional Engineer or able to obtain Arkansas licensure within 3 months. Preferred qualifications add a Master’s degree and 8+ years of experience, with proficiency in gINT, SEEPW, SLOPEW, CWALSHT, PYWall, LPILE, and GROUP; travel may be required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or related field
  • 5 years of geotechnical experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain license in Arkansas within 3 months
