Job Summary
Conduct field observation, sampling, and testing of construction materials including soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel. Document test results and assist in report creation, soil classification, and technical roles as directed by professionals. Perform basic mathematical procedures using measurement tools and lift up to 80 pounds of samples and equipment. Commit to a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer months with a reliable vehicle for site access.
Required Qualifications
- Commitment to work at least 10 weeks during the summer months
- Reliable vehicle for construction sites
- Valid driver's license
- Satisfactory driving record
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 60-80 pounds
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematical procedures
- Ability to use measurement tools
