Job Summary
Develop and implement comprehensive department strategy aligned with company goals, managing relationships with key stakeholders and leading a team of professionals across Engineering and Testing divisions. Accountable for overall office performance, including operational, client, and technical targets, while monitoring financial results and providing regular feedback to management. Direct client contracting in accordance with the Authority Grant Policy, manage personnel mix through recruiting and hiring, and evaluate employee performance to set technical and project management skill development goals. Continuously monitor project financial performance and client retention, ensuring clear communication of strategic direction to all groups.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- Experience in geotechnical and construction materials testing
- Five years of progressive related professional experience
- At least two years of leadership experience
- Texas PE license or ability to obtain registration through reciprocity within 3 months
- Driver's license
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen test
- Must be able to complete a criminal background check
- Must be able to complete a motor vehicle report
