Job Summary
Geotechnical Engineer needed to perform field observations and documentation of construction processes, conduct sampling and testing of soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt, perform calculations, data reduction, and draft reports based on test results. Daily interaction with contractors, technicians, and project managers to facilitate project progress, with potential testimony as an expert witness in dispute resolutions as necessary. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Professional Engineer license preferred. Florida-based position offering health/dental/vision coverage, an FSA, and ESOP. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience in construction defect analysis, particularly in compaction, stormwater systems, and foundation testing
