Job Summary
Geospatial Data Scientist (Expert) role requiring TS/SCI with SSBI. The team focuses on analytical, operational, and technical solutions for national security challenges. Responsibilities emphasize applying geospatial data science techniques (logistic regression, vector methods, NLP, PCA, clustering, neural networks, deep learning, image recognition) and tabular analysis using SQL and scripting languages (Python, R, Julia), within an agile project environment. Knowledge of GEOINT/DoD/IC processes, AWS AI/ML (preferred), and experience with GEOINT data repositories are desirable. Required Qualifications
- Current, active TS/SCI security clearance with SSBI
- Demonstrated mastery of geographic and geospatial scientific principles, tools, and analytical techniques
- Experience with data science techniques including logistic regression, vector, NLP, PCA, clustering, neural networks, deep learning, image recognition
- Proficiency with tabular analysis, SQL, and scripting languages (Python, R, Julia)
- Familiarity with agile software development frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
