Job Summary
Geospatial and remote-sensing analyst role supporting DoD/Army missions. You’ll work on a team to extract meaning from diverse data sources using tools like SOCET GXP and iSpy, develop geospatial solutions for infrastructure, topography, and human geography, and produce formal reports to inform decision makers. The position requires advanced geospatial capabilities, experience with spatial databases (Oracle, MSSQL, PostGIS, PostGreSQL), and proficiency in Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, MapBox, GeoServer, and programming languages (Python, R, SAS, Java). A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph willingness is required, with a path including DoD/IC processes and a strong background in coordinating across industry on technical projects. Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED and 15+ years of geospatial analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in Geomatics/Geospatial Sciences with 10+ years of geospatial analysis experience
- Master's degree in Geomatics/Geospatial Sciences with 5+ years of geospatial analysis experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph
- Experience with geographically-derived assessments, enterprise data integration, spatial data governance, metadata management, and interpretation of business and performance metrics
- Experience coordinating with industry counterparts on technical projects, software and service assessment
- Experience managing spatial relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL, PostGreSQL, PostGIS)
- Experience with DoD/NSG SOM and object-based production
- Knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Platform, QGIS, MapBox, GeoServer
- Ability to present geospatial information via multimedia presentations and written reports
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Experience with Python, R, SAS, Java or similar languages
- Knowledge of DoD/IC geospatial processes, policy and programs
- Experience in cartography, GIS, spatial modeling
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph requirements
- Experience with Army or DoD geospatial processes
- Security investigations and eligibility for access to classified information
