Job Summary
Process imagery, LiDAR data, and sensor information to ensure accurate, high-quality data collection and documentation. Color-balance, orthorectify, and mosaic imagery into seamless map products while editing point clouds and creating digital elevation models. Perform QA/QC checks, maintain data management workflows, and complete logs, reports, and mission-related data transfer activities. Work closely with the geospatial processing team to support airborne collection missions and troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience, an active DoD Secret clearance, and onsite availability in Alexandria, VA. Up to 25% OCONUS travel possible.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of related experience
- US Citizen
- currently possessing an active DoD Secret clearance
- Ability to work onsite at Leidos and customer facilities in Alexandria, VA
- Ability to meet and maintain required Program and DoD training certifications
- Proven experience with digital cartography
- Proven experience with image processing
- Proven experience with GIS technologies
- Proven experience with geospatial production workflows
- Proven experience with digital data formats
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- the ability to collaborate effectively with teammates, supervisors, and customers
- Up to 25% OCONUS travel possible (3–4 month deployments)
- Formal training as a Geospatial Analyst
- familiarity with ISR tools, workflows, and system AMSOPP1
Desired Qualifications
- Education or experience in Geography, GIS, Remote Sensing, or related field
- Previous experience supporting HR3DGI geospatial programs
- Practical geospatial analysis experience (professional, academic, or volunteer)
- Experience with commercial geospatial tools such as ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, MicroStation, TerraScan, Spatix, etc.
