Job Summary
Geospatial Analyst (Expert) required to advance national security analytics. Role emphasizes developing geospatial analyses, managing spatial data across relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL, PostGIS), and delivering custom geoprocessing workflows. Candidates will present geospatial results via multimedia presentations and reports, collaborate with industry counterparts on technical projects, and apply coding in Python, R, SAS, or Java. Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS Platform, QGIS, MapBox, and GeoServer, along with knowledge of data governance and metadata interpretation, is essential. Experience with IC/DoD geospatial data, SOM/structured processes, and security-clearance-related work (TS/SCI with SSBI) are desirable. Certifications (GIS-related) and familiarity with DoD/IC geospatial processes, and office tools are advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- College degree must be in Geospatial Information & Services (GIS), Geomatics, Geospatial Sciences, or related field
- Current/active TS/SCI security clearance with SSBI
- Expert knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Platform, QGIS, MapBox, GeoServer
- Experience with spatial relational databases including Oracle, MSSQL, or PostGreSQL/PostGIS
- Extensive experience with geographically-derived assessments, enterprise data integration, spatial data governance, metadata management
- Expert ability to present geospatial information via multimedia presentations and written reports
- Demonstrated experience using geospatial Python, R, SAS, Java or other coding languages for geoprocessing and analytics
- Experience in coordination and collaboration with industry counterparts on technical projects, software and service assessment
