Job Summary
Geospatial Analysis Expert to support Army national security initiatives. Work with a team to extract meaning from geospatial data, using tools like SOCET GXP and iSpy to develop new ways to identify patterns and connections. Analyze data from satellite and airborne remote sensing, produce geospatial solutions for priorities such as infrastructure, topography, human geography, and intelligence, and prepare formal reports and multimedia presentations for decision-makers. Requires experience with geographically derived assessments, enterprise data integration, spatial data governance, and interpretation of performance metrics; proficiency with geospatial coding languages to deliver custom geoprocessing workflows; experience managing spatial relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, PostGIS); knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Platform, QGIS, MapBox, or GeoServer; ability to communicate findings to stakeholders; Bachelor’s degree in GIS/Geomatics/Geospatial Sciences with 15+ years of experience, or a Master’s with 5+ years; active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph; professional GIS certifications (GISP, Esri) are a plus.
