Job Summary
Conduct 12-hour shifts covering ED, stroke program, and inpatient consults with day and night call coverage. Perform radiologic exam interpretation, lumbar puncture, and thrombolytic therapy as primary duties. EEG, EMG, NCV, evoked potentials, and nerve/muscle biopsies are preferred, along with brain death exams, pain management, Botox, and nerve blocks. This locum tenens neurologist role includes beeper call type only, with paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel/housing. Assignment details and time entry occur in an online portal, supported by 24-hour access to a Weatherby Healthcare consultant.
