Job Summary
Executive Director leads GCEN's efforts to advance and protect Christian education in Georgia, serving as a leading voice for Christian education and overseeing membership growth, program development, and policy advocacy. Responsibilities include establishing and expanding membership services for evangelical and Catholic schools, driving school participation in GCEN SGOs and related initiatives, leading education policy development and advocacy, cultivating relationships with state lawmakers and other key stakeholders, developing systems to assist churches or organizations in opening new Christian schools, participating in affiliate networks and programs (Teach for the Kingdom, Hartshorn Dignity of Life Awards), creating a Leadership Council of administrators from member schools, collaborating with the CEN affiliate networks, and operating within the cooperative agreement with Frontline; other duties as assigned. Skills emphasize in-depth research, clear written content, persuasive oral communication, time management, multi-project leadership, adaptability, technology proficiency (CRM tools), confidentiality, discretion, professionalism, and alignment with Frontline’s mission and Code of Conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required
- 10+ years of experience in Christian education
- Public policy experience preferred
