Job Summary
Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans covering geometry concepts such as points, lines, planes, angles, triangles, similarity, congruence, theorems, and trigonometry. Teach these subjects in a clear and concise manner while developing assessments and monitoring student performance through tests, quizzes, projects, and presentations. Collaborate with colleagues to align curricula and participate in ongoing professional development initiatives. Maintain a safe and positive environment for all students while ensuring effective communication with students, parents, and school staff. This role requires a full-time position with regular and predictable attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Michigan teacher certification and endorsement in the subject
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification/license in Michigan for secondary education with an endorsement in the subject
- Regular and predictable attendance
