Job Summary
Plan, organize, and manage Geomatics activities for Survey Engineering, GIS, and Reality Capture projects from initial field measurements through final deliverables. Coordinate data collection crews, GIS analysts, and technicians while overseeing budgets, scopes, schedules, and client relationships. Determine survey control methods, perform field checks, and manage quality control for all products. Direct construction layout services, research historical records to delineate boundaries, and use specialized software to collect and draft project data. Review and certify staff work to ensure precision and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain accurate records, coordinate product delivery to stakeholders, and develop reports for boundary analysis and data quality.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10+ years of geomatics experience, including experience managing large-scale, complex land surveying projects
- 2-4+ years of fiscal and contract management experience
- High school diploma or GED required
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Survey Engineering, Geomatics, Geographic Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred
- Client management and business development experience
- Extensive experience using industry-standard Geomatics/CAD software and tools for field and office workflows
- Massachusetts land surveying procedures and standards knowledge preferred
