Job Summary
Lead and grow Allnorth’s survey and geomatics team by providing technical leadership, operational management, and strategic development across multiple projects and regions. Responsibilities include leading field and office-based geomatics professionals, delegating workloads, maintaining client relationships, partnering with Talent Acquisition for recruitment and workforce planning, onboarding and mentoring team members, guiding survey methodologies and technology, developing technical specifications and training programs, evaluating equipment and software, and supporting annual operational planning. Travel to project sites and remote locations to support operations and performance development. Requirements include a Diploma in Engineering Technology or related discipline, 10+ years in a survey/geomatics environment, 5+ years of leadership experience, strong understanding of survey operations and geomatics technologies, mentoring experience, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Engineering Technology or related discipline
- 10+ years of progressive experience in a survey and geomatics environment
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Strong understanding of survey operations, field technologies, and geomatics best practices
- Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing technical staff
- Strong commercial awareness and client relationship skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel within the operating region including remote and overnight travel
