Job Summary
Monitor ore mining to maximise recovery and minimise dilution while providing accurate records of ore mining activities. Conduct ore mark-ups and prepare areas for mining, co-ordinating grade control activities and performing grade control sampling. Assist the mine geologists and production team with general duties as required. This role supports the exploration team within a new ASX-listed gold house focused on the Leonora District of Western Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Driver's license (C Class, manual car)
- 2+ years employment history as a Geology Technician or Pit Technician
- Experience in working with different types and styles of deposits
- Well-rounded technical and geology software skills
