Job Summary
Underground Ore Control Geologist responsible for ore control activities including underground geologic mapping, muck routing, grade control support, drill core and RC logging, and sample management. Will work closely with mine operations to ensure accurate geological interpretation and ore delineation while supporting safe production. Responsibilities include maintaining geological databases and production records, collaborating with operations, engineering, and technical services, and supporting exploration, resource definition, and production geology initiatives. Requires ability to work in an underground mining environment and adherence to site safety and environmental procedures; Bachelor's degree in geology or related earth science field; strong mapping, sampling, and logging skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related earth science discipline
- Strong understanding of geological mapping, sampling, and logging techniques
- Ability to work in an underground mining environment
- Strong organizational, communication, and data management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
