Job Summary

Geologist for AECOM's West Region to support mining and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include geological fieldwork with core and cuttings logging, site mapping, sampling, and field investigations; collecting, compiling, and analyzing geological, geochemical, and geotechnical data to inform project interpretation and decision-making; developing geological interpretations, cross-sections, and conceptual models; assisting with resource modeling, data validation, and interpretation under senior staff; preparing technical reports, figures, and client deliverables; collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists; ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and health and safety requirements. Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related discipline and 4+ years of professional geological experience (8+ years preferred). The role includes in-person onboarding at an AECOM office and opportunities for growth within a global infrastructure and engineering firm.
