Job Summary
Geologist sought for the West Region to support mining and infrastructure projects. You will conduct geological fieldwork including core and cuttings logging, site mapping, sampling, and field investigations; collect, compile, and analyze geological, geochemical, and geotechnical data to support interpretation and decision-making; assist with resource modeling, data validation, and development of cross-sections and conceptual models; help prepare technical reports, figures, and supporting documentation for client deliverables; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, environmental scientists, geotechnical engineers, and planners; ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and health and safety requirements. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Geology and 4+ years of experience, with preferred 8+ years in geological investigations for mining, infrastructure, or environmental projects, and strong data analysis and visualization skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology or a related discipline
- 4+ years of professional geological experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
