Job Summary

Geologist-in-Training II responsible for field safety, surveying and prospecting support, core processing, geological mapping and data QA, and supervising drilling activities with field support staff. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Geology, 2–4 years of mineral exploration experience, and licensure as a Geologist-in-Training (APEG A, OGQ or equivalent). On-site fieldwork in Edmonton, AB, with focus on safety documentation, data acquisition, sample shipping, and collaboration with Geotechnicians and Project Managers to advance project objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology or satisfying the Geoscientists Canada’s Knowledge and Experience guide
  • GIT II - Minimum 2 years prior experience in mineral exploration or related field
  • Registered as a Geologist-in-Training with APEGA, OGQ or other provincial legislative body
  • Standard First Aid and CPR level C certified
  • Able to take on projects independently and confidently in the office (when applicable) and in the field
