Job Summary

Execute exploration drill programs by collecting geological data, logging drill cores, sampling, and using geophysical tools to create interpretive cross sections. Collaborate with the project team to produce high-quality geological interpretations, oversee field operations, and supervise contractors while managing office data compilation and reporting. Work in field environments on a rotational schedule out of northern Saskatchewan during summer and winter seasons, requiring the ability to work in remote locations for extended periods. This role supports Cameco's uranium exploration projects in Saskatchewan, Kazakhstan, the United States, and Australia.

Required Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree in geology or related discipline
  • minimum two years relevant work experience
  • eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS)
  • ability to work in remote locations for extended periods of time
  • digital literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • valid class 5 driver's license
  • pre-employment substance test

Desired Qualifications

  • First Aid, ATV and/or snowmobile training
  • GIS and 3D geological modelling experience
  • master's degree or PHD in geology or geoscience
  • previous mineral exploration, drill core logging and/or uranium industry experience
  • Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan's North (RSN)
