Job Summary

Execute exploration drill programs by collecting geological data with specialized software, logging drill cores, sampling, probing holes with geophysical tools, and maintaining interpretive cross sections. Collaborate with the project team to produce high-quality geological interpretations, oversee exploration field operations, and supervise contractors and team members. Perform office duties including data compilation, interpretation, and assisting with reporting requirements. This one-year temporary position requires a rotational schedule out of northern Saskatchewan during summer and winter field seasons. A bachelor's degree in geology and APEGS eligibility are required.

Required Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree in geology or related discipline
  • eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS)
  • ability to work in remote locations for extended periods of time
  • digital literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • valid class 5 driver's license
  • pre-employment substance test
  • Rotational schedule out of northern Saskatchewan during the summer and winter field seasons

Desired Qualifications

  • First Aid, ATV and/or snowmobile training
  • GIS and 3D geological modelling experience
  • master's degree or PHD in geology or geoscience
  • previous mineral exploration, drill core logging and/or uranium industry experience
  • Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan's North (RSN)
