Job Summary
Support the growth of the GPR & Geophysics team by generating new survey projects and exploring geological and environmental business opportunities. Prepare field crews for project kickoffs, organize GPR datasets, and interpret data while integrating findings with client products. Provide targeted training to staff and act as a point of expertise for the GPR & Geophysics and Subsurface Utility Engineering teams. Independently engage in research using company resources and client plans to determine site history and future plans. This office-based role requires a 4-year degree in geology, geophysics, or related fields, plus proficiency in geophysical data processing software and AutoCAD. Travel to job sites and client offices is required, and a valid driver's license is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree in geology, geophysics, geotechnical engineering, or related field, and 2 years' experience OR 4+ years industry experience with cover letter describing skillset (to be evaluated on an individual basis)
- Proficiency with project planning and geophysical data processing software
- Field and office-based work history
- Familiarity with geophysical survey techniques
- Excellent ability to communicate orally and in writing with both internal teams and external clients
- Able to work with minimal supervision and possess excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to organize, analyze, and present information and data in a clear, concise, and meaningful way, including with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PPT) and AutoCAD
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of near-surface geophysical methods
- Familiarity with ground penetrating radar equipment
- Familiarity with construction industry
