Job Summary
American Environmental is seeking a motivated Geologist/Scientist/Engineer with 1-3+ years of related environmental consulting experience. Responsibilities include field observation of contaminated soil, supervising subcontractors, conducting Environmental Site Assessments, evaluating technical data, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. A Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Environmental Science is required, with a Master’s preferred. Strong technical writing skills and proficiency with Microsoft Suite and AutoCAD are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3+ years of related environmental consulting experience
- 40 hour HAZWOPPER training preferably
- Strong technical writing skills
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and industry standards
- Valid driver license
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Geology, Environmental Science or related scientific discipline
- Professional licensing
