Job Summary
Conduct environmental field work including soil, groundwater, surface water, and remediation system data collection, logging, and fluid level gauging. Oversee contractors performing field surveys, drilling, well installation, and utility clearance for intrusive operations while working independently in all weather conditions. Prepare field documents, process and interpret data, and support office tasks such as data entry, analysis, report preparation, and record maintenance. Collect and record results to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Travel to project locations including overnight stays, with 50-90% field work required. This entry-level role supports the Environmental Remediation team at AECOM's Novi, Michigan office, focusing on site characterization and remediation projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Chemistry or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- US citizenship
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
- Must pass a substance abuse test
- Must undergo medical surveillance screening
- Must be able to work as part of a project team comprised of AECOM staff and subcontractors
- Flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects
- Positive attitude

- Field work will be required
