Job Summary
Geological Technician provides technical and administrative support to the exploration team, including data gathering, organization and presentation, and preparing maps and cross sections. Duties include maintaining the integrity of geological data in databases, creating datasets for the exploration team, managing company maps for assigned geographic areas, and providing basic IT support for plotters and workstations. Requires strong communication, reliability, multitasking, attention to detail, and the ability to learn new skills quickly; familiarity with geological software (Geographix, Excel, IHS, Enverus, GIS) is a plus. Schedule is predominantly Monday–Friday, office-based with minimal travel; salary is based on experience; benefits include health insurance and retirement plan.
