Job Summary
Geological Technician provides technical and administrative support to the exploration team, including data gathering, organization, and presentation, preparing basic maps and cross sections, managing geological data in specialized software, maintaining data integrity in geological databases, and offering basic IT support for plotters and workstations. Office-based with predominantly Monday–Friday schedule in Midland, TX, with minimal travel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience preferred but not required
- Familiarity with geological software (Geographix, Excel, IHS, Enverus, GIS programs) is a plus
