Job Summary
Execute the firm's event, client hospitality, and sponsorship strategies aligned with market nuances and practice group priorities. Lead comprehensive planning and delivery of firm-hosted market-based events while critically evaluating regional sponsorship opportunities for strategic fit and measurable outcomes. Partner with market leaders to co-design programs driving high-value client engagement and intentional cross-selling, ensuring every activation meets rigorous brand standards. Direct relationships with local vendors and agencies to guarantee quality execution and budget adherence, while managing specific market budgets through precise tracking and variance reporting. Supervise in-market support teams, reinforcing best practices and deploying standardized tools to ensure operational efficiency. Monitor regional performance metrics, report on engagement data, and coordinate follow-up strategies to transition event engagement into tangible business opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years applicable experience in the field (e.g., marketing or business development, preferably with an emphasis working in a strategy, transformation, or growth function)
- Must have professional services industry experience and/or B2B marketing experience
- Must have experience working with local business organizations for the purposes of brand and relationships opportunity
- Must have experience with TicketManager and CRM
- After orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage and other firm applications
- Ability to work extended and/or weekend hours, as required
- Ability to travel, as required
