Job Summary

Triage referrals, schedule genetics telemedicine visits, and coordinate testing operations for patients with congenital or acquired heart disease. Place genetic test orders in lab portals, track results, and distribute findings to counselors while scheduling follow-up appointments. Manage medical record requests, obtain authorizations, and enter patient and family data into RedCap databases. Maintain counseling calendars, obtain cheek swab samples under direction, and assist with referrals to medical genetics or family studies. Coordinate quality improvement initiatives and organize departmental documents. Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, and a high level of confidentiality.
