Job Summary
Implement computational frameworks and analysis strategies for genetics and genomics projects involving high-throughput sequencing datasets in Alzheimer disease, substance use disorders, and age-related macular degeneration. Direct the development and maintenance of genome-wide association pipelines, carry out risk prediction analyses, and respond to requests for analysis from faculty and collaborators. Train students and postdocs in pipeline use, modify software tools for specific research needs, and prepare tables and figures for manuscripts. Requires strong programming skills in R, Python, or Perl, three years of relevant experience, and the ability to collaborate on manuscript preparation and grant writing.
