Job Summary
Geneticist/Genetic Counsellor faculty opening at Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group in the Department of Pediatrics. Full-time role includes newborn screening, inpatient consults, outpatient genetic clinics, and multidisciplinary team care, with teaching responsibilities for medical students, residents, and genetic counseling students, plus opportunities for protected research time. Practice scope spans neurogenetics, cardiogenetics, cancer genetics, dysmorphology, congenital anomalies, and other genetics/genomics areas. The team comprises multiple geneticists and counselors; a new multispecialty pediatric outpatient facility will open next year. Loma Linda University Clinical Lab is expanding diagnostic genetics and genomic testing; MS in Genetic Counseling program is enrolling its first class in 2025. Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Eligible in Clinical and Metabolic Genetics or equivalent credential
