Job Summary
Provide great customer service, greet visitors, and assist with inquiries while meeting sales and visitor targets. Manage inventory, cash handling, and accounting tasks, including receipt and inspection of purchased merchandise. Execute merchandising duties by setting up seasonal displays, promotions, and store decorations, while maintaining store cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting. Open and close the retail store, ensuring all safety, health, and security procedures are followed. Communicate ideas for improvements to management and present ideas and improvement recommendations. Operate the POS system and track sales to ensure customers receive quality merchandise. Maintain knowledge of FIFCO USA beer styles, brewing, and packaging processes through tours and tastings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior customer service experience
- 6-24 months of comparable retail experience including cash handling, math skills, and store maintenance
- Ability to operate and use computers and cash register
- Must have exceptional communication (written and verbal) skills
- Ability to multitask and organize
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Ability to move about between work spaces freely including all brewery, retail, and office areas
- Ability to operate POS system
- Must be able to reach to grab merchandise, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
