Job Summary
Manage retail operations at the Genesee Brew House Gift Shop by providing customer service, meeting sales goals, and handling inventory and cash accounting. Set up seasonal displays, maintain store cleanliness, and ensure merchandise is stocked while tracking sales and assisting with purchasing records. Communicate ideas for improvements to management and participate in seasonal marketing plans and events. Operate the POS system and follow safety procedures throughout the store.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior customer service experience
- 6-24 months of comparable retail experience including cash handling, math skills, and store maintenance
- Ability to operate and use computers and cash register
- Must have exceptional communication (written and verbal) skills
- Ability to multitask and organize
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Ability to move about between work spaces freely including all brewery, retail, and office areas
- Ability to operate POS system
- Must be able to reach to grab merchandise, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- Must be able to submit to a drug test after a conditional offer of employment
- Must be able to participate in E-Verify
