Job Summary
Lead Lean transformation across European generator manufacturing sites by deploying Toyota Production System principles and executing high-impact Kaizen events focused on flow, lead time reduction, and defect elimination. Coach site leadership and cross-functional teams to mature Daily Management systems and strengthen Built-In Quality through standardized work and error-proofing. Drive end-to-end value stream improvements to eliminate waste while identifying and scaling best practices to ensure consistent operational excellence across the network.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- 5+ years of experience in a Lean manufacturing environment
- Significant experience in Lean Manufacturing within a complex industrial or heavy manufacturing environment
- Proven track record leading Lean transformation initiatives across sites or value streams
- Strong hands-on experience implementing Toyota Production System principles
- Experience with practical Lean innovations such as Moonshine systems and Karakuri-based automation solutions
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-impact Kaizen events delivering measurable improvements in operational performance
- Experience deploying defect prevention strategies and integrating quality into the process
- Strong ability to influence, coach, and drive cultural transformation across diverse, multi-site organizations
- Experience scaling Lean best practices across multiple locations
- Experience in heavy industry manufacturing (e.g., generators, turbines, large equipment)
- Prior experience working with Shingijutsu, Toyota, or equivalent world-class Lean organizations
Desired Qualifications
- Deep Lean / TPS Expertise: Strong hands-on experience implementing Toyota Production System principles, including: Laminar flow Jidoka (automation with a human touch) Pull systems and Kanban Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Single-piece flow
