Job Summary
Diagnose and repair standby generator systems by testing equipment with specialized tools to identify issues and ensure safety. Document all testing results, observations, and resolution steps for each job while maintaining equipment in safe operating condition. Lead customers through informed repair decisions and adhere to OSHA guidelines when using ladders, scaffolding, and lifts in residential homes. Train and mentor apprentices while maintaining a clean driving record and passing background checks. Report equipment issues to supervisors and contribute to revenue metrics within a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Continued education and training to obtain Generac certifications
- Clean, safe driving record
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Must be detail oriented
