Job Summary
Service, repair, modify and diagnose standby power generators from various brands; perform failure analysis, emergency field service and/or repairs for customers; conduct start-ups, PM service and load bank tests; maintain and repair ATSs (both regular and bypass units); work on a variety of commercial/industrial customer sites (hospitals, nursing homes, office buildings, fire stations, correctional facilities, events, etc). Requires experience with standby generators up to 2 MW, natural gas and/or diesel engines; ATS and switchgear experience preferred; PLC engine and generator controllers experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with standby generators up to 2 MW
- Load bank test experience
- PM service experience
- Natural gas and/or diesel engine knowledge
- ATS and switchgear experience preferred
- PLC engine and generator controllers experience
- Ability to service, repair, modify and diagnose standby power generators
- Experience working on a variety of commercial/industrial sites (hospitals, nursing homes, office buildings, fire stations, etc)
