Job Summary
Generator Technician sought to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel and natural gas generators up to 2MW, diagnose and repair control panel issues and electrical faults, conduct ATS replacement/repair/troubleshooting, perform load bank testing and system performance checks, utilize OEM diagnostic software and tools, and read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals. Requires independent field work with strong diagnostic abilities and experience in diesel/natural gas generator systems; requires proficiency with multimeters, clamp meters, and related tools; familiarity with OEM brands and ability to interpret technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years generator technician experience
- Experience with diesel and natural gas generator systems
- Skilled in control panel diagnostics and ATS troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Rehlko or similar OEM brands
- Proficient using multimeters, clamp meters, mechanical tools, and fuel-system diagnostic tools
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow technical documentation independently
