Job Summary
As a Generator Technician, you will identify abnormalities in customer power generation equipment at the customer site and perform standard repairs, including replacing batteries, chargers, block heaters, and related support equipment. You will troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, perform routine maintenance, order parts, and ensure timely completion of service tasks. Requires minimum 5 years of power generation experience and hands-on experience with commissioning and transfer switches from major manufacturers. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of power generation experience
- Experience commissioning with major manufacturers (Onan, Kohler, MTU Onsite and Generac)
- Experience commissioning transfer switches (ASCO, ONAN, Kohler, Thomson, Eaton)
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose standard problems with power generation equipment
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs and replace related equipment
- High School Graduate or GED or 2-4 years related experience
