Job Summary
Generator Technician in Canton, MA for a field-based role servicing commercial and industrial standby generators. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, and control systems; load bank testing and performance verification; replacing major components (starters, alternators, controllers, fuel system components); performing preventive maintenance on generator systems; responding to service calls and supporting emergency power restoration; and communicating clearly with customers in the field. Requires 3-5+ years of generator experience (preferred), strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, independent field-service capability, customer-facing professionalism, and personal tools.
