Job Summary
Diagnose and repair backup standby power systems for customer-owned Generac generators; service/maintenance on home standby generators using the company vehicle, with daily workload coordinated with the Service Manager; read and interpret technical manuals, electrical diagrams, blueprints, and procedures; document services in the electronic software system; strong focus on customer communication and safety while working outdoors in varying weather; schedule typically Mon-Fri 8 am–5 pm, with flexibility to support customer needs; pay commensurate with experience, with company-provided truck and health/retirement benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Electrical certification a plus
- Experience with mechanical small engine repair work and with electrical wiring
- Must be physically able to perform job duties
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
