Job Summary
Install, connect, and test generators, automatic transfer switches, electrical services, and other equipment while measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit. Assist lead technicians with daily installations and repairs of electrical systems, replacing faulty parts and components as needed. Organize work by receiving orders, gathering tools, and maintaining company vehicles and equipment. Clearly document all completed work on an iPad and ensure the job site remains clean. Inspect electrical systems to determine repair needs and replace conduit and wiring as required. Maintain a safe work environment by following standards and codes, and complete special projects as assigned. Monday through Friday schedule with a starting rate of $20.00–$30.00 plus commission opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be skilled with power tools
- Ability to problem-solve
- Not afraid to enter attics and crawl spaces
- Capable of lifting and moving parts up to 80 pounds
- Ability to Respectfully Interact with Clients in Private Residences
- People Skills and Approachability are a must
- Ability to dig
Desired Qualifications
- Electrical or Gas piping knowledge is preferred
