Job Summary
Provide on-site troubleshooting, repair, warranty/campaign service, preventative maintenance, and equipment modifications for Generac industrial products. Perform load bank loading and towing for larger commercial and industrial units. Conduct startup and troubleshooting competencies for Emergency Power Supply Systems (EPSS). This role requires 100% travel with a provided fleet vehicle and no overnight travel anticipated. Overtime may occur during mass storms and outages beyond the standing on-call schedule.
Required Qualifications

- Understand components and operation of an electrical distribution and transfer switch system
- Excellent troubleshooting skills

- Occasionally adverse outdoor weather conditions
- Experienced in Electronics
- Electromechanical Technology
- Knowledge of power generation
- Light tower products
- Spark Ignited internal combustion engine
- Compression ignition internal combustion engine
- High School Diploma
- 3-4 years servicing and troubleshooting Emergency Power Supply Systems (EPSS)
- Generac Industrial certification
- Related maintenance, startup and troubleshooting competencies
- Competitive brand industrial repair proficiency
- Load bank loading and towing
- Related certifications for larger commercial and industrial units
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Marine, Ag, Construction, Automotive technical programs, or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 6 years servicing and troubleshooting Emergency Power Supply Systems (EPSS)
