Generation Project Manager

Job Summary
Generation Project Manager focused on planning and executing utility-grade onsite power generation projects for data centers and mission-critical facilities. Responsibilities include developing proposals and quotes for end-user customers, serving as the main client liaison, maintaining the project tracker, transitioning projects from proposal to contract, coordinating with manufacturers for material orders, production, FAT, shipping, delivery, and start-up, handling site inspections and commissioning, coordinating with the client’s job-tracking software, and supporting ongoing project governance through reports and meetings. Relevant skills include experience with electrical equipment (MV switchgear, transformers, substations, CX boards, PDUs), manufacturing coordination, coordination of FAT and site startup, documentation (Submittals, FAT Reports, Site Labor Reports, O&M documents), and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong emphasis on client relationship management, organizational accuracy, and timely communication; OSHA/NFPA certifications and additional training are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a project management or operations management role
- Experience with electrical equipment (MV switchgear, transformers, substations, CX boards and PDU’s) preferred
- RICE (reciprocating internal combustion engines) and/or turbine experience, a plus
- Everllence, MTU, Wartsila and/or other manufacturer product service training, a plus
- OSHA 10/40, NFPA 70E, Ansi/NETA (MTS and ATS) certifications, a plus
- High sense of urgency and expert level organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage conflict and provide resolution
- Excellent business analysis capabilities
