Job Summary
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment while moving trailers throughout the yard using a yard mule tractor. Handle returned and damaged products, clean dock areas, organize and repack pallets, and strip trucks of freight and dunnage. Accurately pick special orders using handheld scanners and electric pallet jacks while recycling cardboard. Operate safely in a fast-paced environment following all company safety procedures, including lifting up to 30 pounds continuously and 60 pounds intermittently. Work Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in hot and cold, non-temperature controlled environments. Forklift experience and yard mule tractor operation skills are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate electronic ordering and inventory tracking devices
- Ability to safely operate electric pallet jacks and rider jacks
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds continuously and up to 60 pounds intermittently
- Ability to push or pull carts weighing up to 260 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work in hot and cold warehouse and dock environments that are not temperature controlled
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Dependable work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating a yard mule tractor is preferred or the ability to learn
- Forklift experience is a plus
