Job Summary
Works in multiple distribution-center departments (case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, replenishment) and operates material handling equipment to move inventory. Assists with staging and loading orders into trucks, verifies quantity and quality of incoming products, uses packing list information to collect items, builds/wraps pallets for customer orders, inspects stock for wear or defects, and returns misplaced items to proper storage. Maintains a clean, safe workspace per company policy and participates in inventory control as needed; position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and adherence to safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in warehouse/distribution
- experience operating material handling equipment (pallet jack, hand truck)
- ability to read packing lists and truck loading manifests
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand for extended periods
- excellent attention to detail and safety compliance
