Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. Responsibilities include operating heavy equipment like forklifts and cranes, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining safety protocols. The role calls for strong experience in warehouse distribution processes and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, and materials handling
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks safely and effectively
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory control
- Experience in shipping & receiving processes within a warehouse setting
- Strong physical ability for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking throughout the warehouse
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction or crane operation is a plus but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
